Decent food, friendly people and good prices. Don't be afraid to stop in here. For a buffet place, this is about as good as it gets.

I'm always willing to shirk the bad reputations of buffets in general, but I do not recommend this place even of you're feeling bold. First, I cannot confirm the connection but shortly after eating here I suffered the most violent digestive distress since that time I ate street meat in South America. Secondly, on a weekday at 3 pm it was shockingly cramped and expensive. And sub-par food. And lastly, nearly every plate and cup we touched was chipped. Do heed the "warning" sign they've kindly taped up or you could find yourself with a cut lip and/or tetanus. AVOID.

A little nicer than your typical buffet. Excellent selection of traditional as well as local dishes. Was nice to see most employees wearing gloves and keeping the place clean. Very fairly priced.

First impression upon walking in was nasty. I've heard from many people it was good...I'm beginning to question their taste buds. For a buffet it was reasonably priced. $13 per person, and that didn't include drinks. Kids under 36 inches eat free and 54 inches eat for half price. For 4 adults $51.96, plus 1 child $ 6.50, and drinks $10.95 plus tax-the total bill $73.57. While the food is good and mostly fresh looking, the setup is seriously flawed. They have stations set up for salad, seafood, and meat but each station has shellfish on it. Since I have a contact allergy with shellfish, I was limited to what I could actually eat. My friend enjoyed the crabs away from me. They were medium sized and a mix of males and females. She definitely got our money's worth! They had steamed, fried, and stuffed crabs, shrimp (about medium size)several ways. The kids had no problems finding food they would eat, which is good cause they are quite picky. We observed many cultures eating here. Staff were friendly and prompt. Except the hostess that seated us. As we were standing in line waiting to be seated, we watched 2 young children approach the food bars and take food(jello) and place it back into the pans with their hands. Then they walked over to the fruit and picked up the watermelon slices, took a bite, and placed it back into the pan. I was quite loud when I informed the hostess what happened and she quickly went over to the children and asked what they were doing. Then the mother came up and she told her what happened. The mother said something to the children and walked away. The hostess picked up the watermelon slice and threw it away. The rest of the jello and watermelon stayed on the bars. Needless to say, none of us ate that stuff.

I only come here with a friend who simply loves Asian-style buffets..otherwise I avoid these places like the plague for a variety of reasons... The PRO's -lots of parking -quick seating -hibachi area has a lot of options and is fairly quick -wait staff is very attentive to removing dirty plates and refills -plantains are good The CON's -the sushi options are disgusting...fish does not taste fresh, most rolls are engulfed in white rice -the crab rangoon are filled with practically cream cheese only and if you discover any artificial crab it is specs -soups taste very salty and lack real flavor -floor and walls appear dirty and in need of a good cleaning Overall, I'd rather go into a 'hole-in-the-wall' Chinese restaurant and pay a little more for a reasonable portion and not gluten myself with a menu that is not made to order (minus the hibachi section). This place feels a bit trashy inside and the food is below average. The only rewarding section is the hibachi and the unlimited fupa sightings!

many tasty items, however because this is a very busy buffet there is a feeling of uncleanliness with the tongs. They never seem to change them and many people here seem to be eating thier way straight to depression!

food here was very good and very fresh! huge selections of different types of seafood. Fried shrimps, steamed crabs, prawns, raw oysters, mussles and claims. Service was quick and friendly Huge selections of desserts/fruits as well they even have popsicle! I would definitely come back here again if I was in the area Very cheap too! can't beat it at $12 bucks for dinner

The worst food I have ever had. Everyone was nice but the place was not taken care of at all. My booth had duct tape all over to keep the cushion together. As for the food, just awful. Plus it didn't help when I saw them roll out the food from the kitchen it was on a cart and the bottom shelf was only inches from the floor and people walking next to it kicking up dirt. Will NEVER eat there again!

Having experienced Tokyo Seafood Buffet on Security Boulevard, I was surprised at the caliber of Hibachi Sushi & Supreme Buffet in Glen Burnie. In summary--it's pretty legit. It was competitive, at only $13 for dinner, which was considerably less than $18 at Tokyo. Here's what you get: -a mix of Chinese and American buffet foods (your sesame chicken, beef & mixed vegetables, fried rice, noodles, etc, plus pizza, mac & cheese, roast beef, prime-rib, ham, and a whole stall of fried stuff like coconut shrimp, rangoon, etc) -5-6 different soups at a soup bar, some Chinese (hot & sour, miso, seafood), some American (clam chowder, Maryland crab, etc) -seafood: I liked how they had several crab imperial or scallops on a shell type of things, in addition to fish, crab (they didn't have the coveted snowcrab legs, but they did have Maryland crab), crawfish, mussels...there was quite a bit of seafood to make it worth your while. Probably not as much as Tokyo, but still, quite a spread. -hibachi grill, I didn't get to try this but it looked legit, unlike Tokyo, there's no scallops which would be the only minus. -sushi bar: they had one half of it all raw stuff sitting on a nice boat--and the other half was all cooked rolls. They used good quality pollack that's sinewy and not chewy. -dessert: ice cream in a large bin, chinese donuts, and several types of fruit and cheesecake, pie. Yes, they had DRAGONFRUIT on a Saturday night, can you believe that? Dragonfruit is mad expensive here, is imported, and usually costs about $4 for one fruit at the local korean grocery. That was a nice surprise. The waitstaff were all from Fujian. Sure, they were all young ladies and I did see them chatting a lot amongst themselves at the station, but they were nice and let us stay for quite a while until closing time around 10:30pm. Or maybe they were so busy chatting they completely forgot we were still there, haha. We were generally undisturbed, but plates were removed and water was refilled. There was a draft blowing in and our waitress was nice enough to reseat us, however, it I noted that when I wanted to sit further in to have us be well away from the drafty front and back door, she apologized and said that would be moving outside her "territory." Well, isn't it more important that we be comfortable and warm, as customers? I didn't want to make a big deal so I went with it, but we were still chilly. They need to do something about that door!

So first things first, this is an Asian food buffet so temper your expectations. It is quite affordable. Less than $10 for lunch & maybe a few more dollars for dinner. They have a sushi station and a cooked to order hibachi station. Both are relatively humble with a limited selection but if done right can work out well. I never get the sashimi here or any of the mayonnaisey rolls. Too much risk. Stick to the basics. They do fish and some of the seafood really well. There is a giant deep fried fish that is super yummy. Also the mussels can be pretty yummy. Of course there is the large selection of deep fried stuff including egg rolls, chicken wings, chicken nuggets etc... They have a decent selection of the typical American chinese dishes like beef broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, stir fried noodles etc.. They also serve cold steamed shrimp & cooked crabs (the crabs come out @ dinner I think) I like their veggie dishes including broccolini in garlic, spinach gratinee & steamed mushrooms. I wish the salad bar was better. It's always struggling a bit. Desserts can be hit or miss. Mostly miss though but once I had super yummy tiramisu.

We ate here last weekend, and I really enjoyed it. It reminds of the Hibachi Buffet in Parkville, but it has a few small differences. You will not leave here hungry. There are tons of food options. Our waitress was friendly. It's the typical buffet setup where you order a drink and get the food on your own. For $12 or so, you can't go wrong. The food was great here. From the best of my recollection, here are some things that are available on the weekend dinner buffet: sesame chicken, coconut chicken, chicken and broccoli, pizza, "prime rib," cheese rangoon, vegetable fried rice, several types of sushi, clam shells stuffed with crabmeat and breading, fried plantains, crawfish, sweet and sour chicken, lo mein noodles, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, a fruit and salad bar, dragon fruit, and several desserts. My only complaint was that the restaurant was really drafty. We were seated pretty close to the door. Every time someone opened it, a gust of cold wind blew through. My food cooled off faster than I could eat it. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area. Rating: 4.5

For a meal so cheap, expect a crowd. Moreover, expect the popular food items to have savages disguised in casual wear hovering... and grabbing like it's their first meal in 5 days... I admit there are decent (tasty & edible) short ribs and plenty of guilty pleasure fried foods. Forget expecting a modicum of quality sushi - pieces of fish were frozen. OMG, what did I expect when I paid $12.99? The real value comes from volume consumption or the teppanyaki (not hibachi) grilling. Thanks to this establishment, Maryland's waistline is expanding! So many options, so little room in my belly. They have a hibachi station where you can pick your own meat and veggies for the chef to cook. They have an assortment of different cuisines (i.e. Sushi, fried chicken, Chinese food, pizza, etc.). Their desserts are pretty decent as well. They make this delicious coffee flavored cake and it's soooooooo good! I judge a buffet by its desserts and I must say that I am impressed. The service was really good as well. The waitresses came around often to refill our beverages and take away our dirty plates. I will definitely be back again, especially when I'm having a fat day.

eat there with a good friend, the meatloaf was hot and fresh the shrimp was not that bad its a good deal for the price, But you have to pay 75 cents for the ice cream.

It was really really amazing the first time I went there! Around two years ago and I LOVED it! Went there again Valentine's Day 2014 and was quite disappointed! They charged a bunch extra for the day and gave us part of a lobster to make it up which I would be totally okay with if the quality of the food didn't drastically change with the amount of people. All of the food was just okay and lots of it was just flavorless. We went again one time since and the food still tasted white boring but better than on Valentine's Day for sure. The room and building has a very nice, very soft and classy look (sort of like a japeneese statehouse!) With all of that said it is the only all-you-can-eat chineese place for miles! And I would go again

Fairly robust Chinese buffet with something for everyone. Basically your traditional Chinese buffet fair with a pretty good seafood and sushi selection (for a buffet). If you a looking to stuff yourself give it a try. Be advised on a Saturday night the line will be out the door.

  • Suzi G.

I can't get over how cheap this place is. There are TVs ice cream meat seafood sushi and stir fry on demand (leave the poor chef a tip please). The clams are great and the Korean ribs are pretty authentic tasting. Don't worry if your favorite dish is running low, they replenish regularly and I would suggest hovering until they bring it out (if you're impatient let someone know and I'm sure they'll bring it out faster for you). The sushi is standard. Note: You may have to wait for your fish to defrost so I would just do a quick temp check before you pop it in your mouth. Plenty of parking and seating even during rush hour.

  • Ma-e M.

What do you expect to chinese/asian buffet? Variety... at a low price but would you be afraid that they do serve leftover from last night? I observed it and I doubt that they threw away the food, especially the sushi that was carefuly stacked to be refrigerated. Not the kind of buffet place you would want to eat; A grill person holding a phone sticking his butt to the food counter, some food cooked earlier the day left uncold. I am afraid and you should be afraid to go here.

  • Nick F.

The food is enjoyable and the price is right but the service is unacceptable. I would give this place 3.5 stars on food alone, but their service is simply horrendous. Waitresses never say please or thank you and lack basic manners. Instead, they stand at the main podium in the middle and watch you eat your food. Occasionally, they giggle to each other making for an extremely uncomfortable experience. When you are seated you are not welcomed. Welcoming is the furthest trait on the mind of this wait staff. The staff does not respond to normal exchanges - "how are you today?" is responded to with a nod. I don't understand how others put up with their service. There is a reason why I never leave a tip here. Once again, the less important part of their review is their food. Standard oriental buffet fare but the Hibachi is pretty good, although many other places are adding that now so maybe I won't have to come back here? I will respond with a "nod."

  • Vida O.

Since opening I noticed the food has been declining and the service as well. Is wish they would just deep clean the carpets once in a while so that smell would go away. But into the food... Sushi and ice cream was warm which is not cool. The hot Chinese food is the best part of this place but the seafood is not the freshest and I really question the oxidized brown beef near the hibachi station. Not appetizing. But if you want a cheap buffet with a large spread come here.

Hibachi sushi & supreme buffet is large, always busy, expensive and offers a lot of options from American to Chinese, and Japanese inspired dishes. All which are below average, and what you would expect to come from a buffet, whose line chefs are serving over 20 items at a time and letting them sit under heat lamps for up to 45 + minutes everyday. The sushi was horrible, one roll and I didn't attempt anything else. In house made to order Hibachi dishes make the cost reasonable, if you can justify the $18 price tag per visit, for a sub par place. As for the ability to pick choose, and give the cook items to cook it's nice, but a lot of places do this. All of the other dishes were below average and weren't worth really typing about. Overall 2 stars, I have experienced a lot better places for a lot less!

  • Farra W.

The food was pretty average as far as buffet food tends to go, though there was a good variety. However, I was disappointed that there were no green onions or crispy noodles for the egg drop soup, since that was what I was really craving. That's not a huge issue for most people, probably, so no stars lost for that, even though it brings it down a notch for me personally. What made this a two star review rather than a three was that the bowls for the soup were just tossed in a plastic bin near the soups, and more than half of them looked dirty. I thought for a minute that maybe this was where they were putting the used bowls they picked up. I couldn't find bowls anywhere else, though, so I'm guessing these were supposed to be clean. There was also a sign on the glass above the soups that said to be careful because of cracked glass . Shouldn't they probably fix glass that's cracked when they keep food just below it that people are going to be eating? If it weren't for the questionable level of sanitation, I'd try this place again, but I'm not sure I want to risk eating out of someone else's used bowl or ingesting glass.

So being real, its a Chinese buffet and I didn't go in expecting much, but I was pretty pleasantly surprised. The variety here is probably the best thing about it, aside from the sushi bar. You can get an excellent variety of classic Chinese dishes as well as plenty of American favorites too. On special occasions you can pay to get snow crab legs with your meal, as well, which are really excellent. Servers are always on point and you can get plenty for your money.

The Love of My Life and I decided to try this place after bowling instead of our usual sojourn at Best Buffet behind the alley; the two places are very similar, but I guess we wanted to compare. This was the original spot that we had been trying to find. The prices are similar, though Hibachi charges a little more (about a 5-buck difference). However.... as much as I hate to say it, the food is much, MUCH better here. There is much more variety, for one thing. Best Buffet has about maybe 6 or 7 different varieties of sushi, while Hibachi had at LEAST ten and maybe more (I didn't even get around the entire station). There were a lot more steamed and grilled options here; the traditional Chinese fare was much better than across the street. The steamed dumplings were tender and the spring rolls were fresh and crisp, just the way I like them. I was actually able to eat other things besides sushi here (not the case at Best Buffet). I still didn't try any of the American food - it just doesn't seem right at a place like this! The boyfriend declared their dessert options "MUCH better" than the other buffet. Decor is a lot better, too - you can tell that they've spent a bit to keep this place up. The only thing that I didn't like was that the wait staff (refilling drinks, removing plates, etc.) was a bit overzealous - I'd barely put a plate down and they whisked it away, sometimes before I even put the fork on the napkin. They kind of "hung out", too, watching us eat - that's a bit TOO attentive for my taste. I actually remembered this place when I walked in - it used to be the Old Country Buffet a few years ago when I worked in the area. Not bad at all. We'll definitely return for a second round.

I have been waiting to find a decent Chinese buffet in the Baltimore area for a while. I went on Sat night. I think because of the high volume of customers they had everything out, and it was fresh. Sushi, sashimi, ribs, prime rib, crawfish and every Chinese American dish you can think of. It was $13 bucks for dinner and $2 more for a drink. I will be back.

    (4)
  • Andrew M.

A regular patron. An awesome deal for the money. From sushi, shashimi, to ribs & salad. Arrive early on Sat & Sundays as the line to pay gets lengthy at times. There is always a decent amount of patrons inside as that has something to say about how good this place is. You will not be disappointed!

Great selection, great flavor, I can't come here too often, doctor's orders. The crawfish are some of the best I've had. Very much a standard buffet with a large selection and good quality.

if you compare price, food and service, in my opinion, this Hibachi Buffet is the best one to go for . I went there several times now, from lunch to dinner, food always hot (my trick is never go buffet before 12:00 PM, or after 8:00 PM, you will get left over from previous day, the food is not hot, or, buffet table is nearly empty due to less customers - this really happen on all buffet restaurants no matter it is Chinese buffet or famous American style buffet chain). I notice about 85% of the dishes are the same every time I go there, but from time to time, they offer special dishes which surprise me a lot. even though same dishes, but taste are good like fried chicken wing, french fry, fish chips, crab cake...etc, fruit bar also serve season fruits, like fresh cherry and fresh longan which are quite expensive from supermarket. one thing I don't like is they consider "TEA" as drink, in my opinion, tea is basic thing in Chinese restaurant, like water in other restaurants, I will pay for the tea if they offer the same quality tea like Chinese din sum restaurant.

I'm giving 4 stars for the service alone, which is some of the best I've seen anywhere. As for the food - it's not terrible but if you are a customer of Golden Corral, this place will do nothing for you

When it first opened, it was great. Now, this place is just a grease pit. Almost everything is deep fried.

I have a steadfast rule when it comes to any Chinese buffet: Expect the worst. Despite the decent reviews, I held onto this rule before our visit to Hibachi Sushi. It wasn't bad as far as buffets go. There was a massive selection and there was even a whole selection of American foods ranging from sausages to sweet potatoes. The selection of sushi was enough to satisfy me and there was a fair amount of seafood available. Their dessert section was great in that there was actual full sizes of cakes instead of the tiny square cakes that are usually found at these buffets. Service was okay but then again I don't expect much in the way of banter at a buffet anyway.

For $13 bucks for a seafood dinner buffet, who can beat that. This is by far one of the most affordable place to eat. It carries a variety of food, it's actually not just Japanese food as the name of the restaurant buffet. You name it they have it. I especially like the crawfish, sushi, ribs, crabs and sashimi. They also have a Hibachi grill (that alone is worth the thirteen bucks you pay for. I don't know how this restaurant makes money. It's pretty impressive now that I think about it.

It's big. It's got Chinese food, a Mongolian grill, and a surprisingly not-bad sushi bar. They also provide a substantial amount of American food for those who go to a Chinese buffet but don't want Chinese food (in other words, idiots). Overall the food was good for a buffet - and they had tons of shrimp, crab legs, steamed crabs, and other seafoody fare that seems to draw crowds. The sushi is good, and they even had hand rolls - a nice surprise. I didn't get the chance to try the Mongolian Grill - I was too busy stuffing my gob with dumplings and sushi - but it looked decent. I have a feeling this place is going to be mobbed on weekends. Luckily they can handle big crowds - it used to be an Old Country Buffet and has a ridiculous amount of seating.

This is agood buffet place. They have a variety of everything from chinese, to sushi to American food. It was hard to choose what to eat because a lot of the food looked so appetizing. The egg rolls were not that great but the spring roll was delicious. They had a nice selection of fruits and desserts. They even had hard ice cream that you could scoop out yourself. They had a big slab of prime rib that you could slice yourself. The price for the buffet was expensive. I was suprised that it cost about $15 a person. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. She was quick to refill our drinks and to take the dirty plates away. I was disappointed that there were no fortune cookies to be found. I had to settle for a slice of pumpkin pie instead. The pie was delicious. Overall, the food was decent but the price could be a little bit lower.

  • Sam S.

It's very hit-and-miss here. On a good day, the sushi is great, the food is nicely cooked, the soup is delicious, and the salads are crisp. On a bad day, the sushi is bland, the hibachi grill line is long, the food is lukewarm and soggy, the salad is bruised and the soda is kind of flat. It's a good place to eat, when it's good. it's a terrible place when it's bad.

The best Asian buffet ever. The crabs were wonderful, with just the right amount of old bay seasoning, and there was so much meat in them. The food selection had alot to choose from, and they're mostly better quality than other places. The price is super cheap for what you're paying for!

As far as chinese buffets are concerned this is as good as it gets. The selection is huge! This place has everything from macaroni and cheese to alaskan king crab legs. You can eat from the buffet (of course) or you can choose fresh ingredients to be sauteed on the grill; creating your very own mongolian style stir fry dish. The sushi bar is great! You can feast on pre-made rolls or you can have your sushi prepared right before your eyes. Other items to enjoy are ice cream, cakes and desserts and fruit. All for just over $10 for dinner. Lunch is a little less expensive. You can't beat it!

Our dear friends/family members are fond of buffets so we've tried virtually all of them in the county. This one wins hands-down. The sushi is good & fresh, made before your eyes (unlike some other Asian buffets in the area where one questions how long it has been sitting out). Everything from california rolls to salmon, tuna, etc. has always been solidly good. Hibachi also decent. American fare (chicken, roast beef, etc.) seems hot & tasty, while not "wowing." Shrimp are large and fresh. Salad & trimmings good. Decor is ok. Tables are a bit crowded together in the center of the room, however -- not really a spot for an intimate meal and I'd prefer nicer chairs with a bit more space between tables. A few negatives: they use styrofoam cups for hot beverages -- while it might entail a bit more work, please, please use real glasses / mugs! Also, the bathrooms could be cleaned more frequently (they are marbled floor to ceiling and while they probably are checked once a shift, staff should go in more frequently to check overflowing trash cans, wipe down handles, etc. Those issues aside, it is a solid buffet for those who want a variety of American and Asian food for a set price. If you are considering this or another Asian buffet in Anne Arundel County (such as the ones in Crofton, Annapolis or Pasadena), there is no question that the Hibachi just south of the MVA is the way to go!

Praise, at times we give it falsely, however, I can honestly say that my experience at Hibachi Sushi and Supreme Buffet was everything I dreamed an Asian/American fusion buffet could be. They had a wonderful salad bar with several low-fat dressing options and a truly delightful egg drop soup soup, that really started the meal off right. The noodle and chicken choices were just too many to mention, but one my heart truly appreciated was the Mongolian Chicken, which was quite satisfying. One of the greatest differentiators between Hibachi and other less than adequate Asian buffets is their sushi. Let me pose a hypothetical scenario, you want sushi made your way and hibachi shrimp, but how? Well, the sushi chefs make custom orders and you can pick your own ingredients for the hibachi and they will cook it simultaneously. I haven't had such a pleasant dining experience in a while since Fortune Star Buffet closed, but this places superseded my expectations and for just $7.59, lunch is filled with possibilities and pocket savings

2.5 Stars I read a previous review saying that the sushi was fresh and their choices are impressive. I feel as though if there is a wider selection of sushi than other Chinese buffets. However, the quality of the sushi is very mediocre. It is okay up to par with buffet standards. Korean BBQ is not marinated correctly and you can really taste the MSG in most foods. Don't get me wrong its a great deal but I feel as though the place may be a little overrated. Yeah so perhaps the two-three star rating may have been skewed because of the expectations that I had of the place before I went there based on fellow yelpers' reviews. Nothing was extraordinary but the key word here is price. It is an excellent deal.

The service was fast and friendly during a major holiday, "Mothers Day". That says something about how well run this place is. That being said... The Chinese food selection was disappointing. Very basic. The rice and lo main were veggie based. Both had overcooked limp vegetables that were bland. The seafood, shrimp & crab weren't half bad. They were both seasoned fairly well. The dumplings were a pleasant surprise. You don't find them at most all-u-can-eat places. Not bad. The egg-rolls also passed the taste test. Nice selection of desserts. The cleanliness could have been better. But then again it was packed. If you just want Chinese food this may not be your best option. If your looking for a little variety it may work for you.

Great place if you're looking for a good, clean, buffet, but just remember, it's a buffet, so don't come expecting the creme de la creme of cuisine. Nevertheless, the buffet spread offers plenty of options ranging from sushi, American, Chinese, they even have an oyster bar and serve whole crabs and crab legs. For the price you're getting, it's quite the bargain. I will come again!

I feel the need to set the record straight here. This restaurant is EXACTLY what you would expect from a buffet, despite what the other reviewers have said. I was swayed to give it a try by the overall four star rating but I want others to know the truth -- it is no better than any other buffet. Disclaimer: I am a foodie. If you are middle-America, like everyone else there, you will probably love it. The ambiance should have been a warning sign right off the bat, but I figured, whatever, for $12 with a wide range of seafood, Asian food, and even American food it would be worth a try. The second warning sign was when I unwrapped my silverware to discover *just* a fork. It is amazing how often a knife or spoon comes in handy... Round 1: Salad, two dumplings, two pieces of sushi (I travel for work so you gotta eat healthy where you can). The lettuce choices: romaine or iceberg. The other toppings: mediocre. I added cucumbers, green bell peppers, and beets. And I LOVE beets (even canned!), but these were nasty and had a weird flavor. Peppers = bitter; tomatoes = so anemic I didn't even try them. I decided to explore what else the buffet had to offer, and ended up with two dumplings and two pieces of sushi on the edge of my plate because I couldn't wait for Round 2. The pork dumpling was one of the best things I ate; I didn't even bother with the second piece of sushi (completely tasteless). Round 2: Steamed crab with old bay, crawfish, shrimp from the hot bar. Well, it was exactly what you would expect from a buffet: all overcooked. The crab could have been OK had there been anything to help eat it with (I just had a fork, remember), but not worth the effort and pain to shell by hand with no mallet or knife. The shrimp was the best of the seafood I tried - approximately half were actually good and not overcooked. The crawfish were painfully overdone. I was too scared to try the raw oysters and other shellfish, but they had these options (I think I saw mussels and clams as well). At this point normally I'd be done but I was still hungry because nothing was satisfying! Plus there were so many options so I thought to myself, maybe the American food is good; it can't all be terrible! So, I went for Round 3. Round 3: Mac n cheese, ribs. The ribs were probably the best thing I ate all night and to put that in perspective, there was a tray of ribs in the hot bar with tongs to cut them apart (again, no silverware). They weren't terrible, just a little dry in places and definitely overdone. Had to be to use tongs to separate them from each other! The mac n cheese...well lets just say the Smart Ones frozen mac I had today for lunch was better, and only 300 cal. Something about it just tasted completely off, and the color once I left the bright illumination of the hot bar left a lot to be desired. Overall, I'm actually pretty happy I didn't like it b/c as a biz traveler who literally stays next door, this would have been trouble had it actually been good.

I've been here twice. The first time I went on a weekend, the food was hot, fresh, and there was a good variety; they even had fairly large and fresh crabs. The second time I went (on a Saturday lunch during a Hurricane), the food was half cold, there was very little selection, and the crabs were fried instead of steamed (telling me it was half old but they wanted to put out crabs). The hibachi shrimp and seafood were not fresh. Overall, it was a 4-star the first time and a 2-star the second time but because of the second time I am less inclined to go again.

The food is ok. A little on the dry side. The service is the worst. Great idea for sushi and ice cream treats. They lack in the veggie department. The cake bar was wonderful. The drink menu suck. Sunny Delight isn't really fresh orange juice.

The food is great. I loved the chicken. The setting of the place is nice. There is a big varity of food and desserts to choose from. The service is ok. I like I would come back here again. They even have a sushi bar that u can give the order and they will make the rolls for u. I didn't eat the sushi or the other meat but I am guessing the food is good here.

This place is fantastic and has everything from fresh sushi, Chinese food, Hibachi and American fare as well. The sushi is fresh and surprisingly good, although not the best you'll ever have, (go to a sushi bar for that), but the variety and quality of food items is astounding! If you like seafood, you won't be disappointed: whole steamed crabs, fresh grilled salmon, clams, crawfish and more! For those who do not like Chinese or seafood and have been brought against their will, there's a great selection of fruits, salads and American fare, such as sweet potatoes, carved prime rib and ham, steak sub sandwiches, pizza, BBQ ribs...There really is something for everyone! This place is great...best buffet I've ever had!!

Came here on Christmas and was pleasantly surprised! The buffet food wasn't bad at all and the sushi was actually pretty decent! They also had a hibachi section (included in the buffet price) that we were too full to try. They had tons of great seafood options and delicious desserts, all for under $30 for 2 people! Definitely going back.

Enormous selection, food was very good. Someone else mentioned MSG--I did not eat a lot but the next day couldn't get my rings off. That hasn't happened with any other restaurant I've been to in 10 years, so I'm guessing they must use quite a bit of that lovely seasoning.

Beef Kalbi available, very tender and tastey. I like the soups offered here too, the place is clean, and offer a lot of food. The sushi was somewhat weak. A large choice of american food here too, and the hibachi grille is good also. nice staff too. Way too far from me to come back often, but I would if I could.

Hibachi Sushi and Supreme Buffet is a great place to satisfy any hunger craving. I happened upon it while driving home one day and was attracted to the lure of a sushi buffet, since sushi is otherwise expensive. I went in expecting only a few choices but was pleasantly surprised by the variety there. I am not a sushi expert, but the sushi seemed fresh to me. Plus, the place is so popular that it is usually packed, so the food turnover is quick. Nothing sits out for very long, except for the pizza. The rest of the food selection is great too. They have an American food section that has your basic American food fare - pizza, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, fries, fried chicken, sweet potato fries, marshmellow yams, cheese spinach, and usually several types of meat - meatloaf, pork tender, ham, bbq ribs, etc. The Asian food section contains things like korean bbq, green beans, sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, beef and broccoli, imitation crab casserole, coconut shrimp, hibachi chicken, burbon chicken, salt and pepper shrimp, cashew shrimp, fresh grilled salmon, tilapia, blue fish, bass, fried crab, some dimsum, potstickers, and Chinese donut holes. For dinner or Sundays, I think they have more seafood items, like crayfish, steamed clams, mussels, etc. Special things include: a Mongolian Grill type thing where you select your raw meat, your noodles, and vegetables, and someone cooks it right in front of you with your choice of sauce. There are usually five types of soups to choose from. The ones I've seen are Hot & Sour, Wonton, Miso, Maryland Crab, and Clam Chowder. There is a salad bar with raw clams and mussels and a fruit bar, and a very basic desserts section with store-bought cakes and cookies. There are also little cups of store-bought ice cream in a freezer. Summary: There is a lot of food to choose from, and while they might not be what you would get in a fancy restaurant, they are good to satisfy your cravings for Asian food and sushi. I think it's worth it to go to the dinner for $11.99, but their weekday lunch for $7.50 is a crazy steal. If you're not fully convinced, try their weekday lunch first. It has basically the same stuff, minus some special foods. Don't forget to leave a small tip on the table before you leave, because it's not included in your bill!

I saw all the mediocre reviews and just wanted to write something. I have been to many buffets around the country and excluding those that cost 20 bucks or are in Vegas etc., this is pretty solid. By far the best I have experienced in Baltimore in this price range. Always fresh, clean, good food, only complaint would be too busy at times. But that is another testament to its popularity.

I am not a fan of buffets with food sitting in grease and sushi in a buffet is usually not a good thing. BUT this place! The sushi is fresh and they go beyond the California roll. There was Dragon rolls, Philly rolls, and other variations that totalled about a dozen. The buffett has a variety of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and American foods. All yummy. They have Korean BBQ and gyoza, ice cream, cakes, fruit, salads, and more. The price is very good and it's quite the treat to go!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
